KIRKSVILLE, MO -- One Heartland church brings a community together to put many in the Christmas spirit.

Our cameras were at the First Baptist Church in Kirksville as they put on their performance of The Living Christmas Tree this Sunday morning.

A 60 plus voice choir with representatives from 16 different area churches and dancers from the Dance Studio of Kirksville presented the joyful sights and sounds of the holiday season.

A dramatic script accompanied the musical and tied in seamlessly with the choral selections as they brought the true meaning of Christmas to a big audience.

The Christmas tree in the musical was towering 25 feet above the floor and reaching within inches of the sanctuary's cathedral ceiling.
