KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The current drought has impacted feed costs, cover crops, soil health among several other things.

This year at the 2012 Missouri Livestock Symposium a committee and panel of experts will address these topics and answer any questions anyone might have.

The symposium will run from four to 10 p.m. Friday, December 7 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 8.

The event will be held at the Kirksville Middle School.

The event is free to attend.

During the symposium there will also be a free trade show and two free meals.

There will be a beef dinner Friday at 6 p.m. and a luncheon Saturday at noon.
