MEMPHIS, MISSOURI -- A former teacher in a northeast Missouri school district, who is facing sex related charges, is asking to move the location of his trial.

Corey Stott, 38, of Arbela, is charged with a felony count of sexual conduct with a student while on school property and a misdemeanor count of third-degree sexual misconduct.

Stott has filed a motion for a change of venue to move the case out of Scotland County.

Stott is accused of improperly touching the female student on two separate occasions, once while on a school bus on a school function, and another time while in the vo-ag classroom.

Stott was the vo-ag instructor and FFA advisor at Scotland County High School at the time of the incidents. Stott has since resigned his position and is no longer at the district. His next court date has not yet been set. He remains free on bond.
