BRASHEAR, MO. -- The Adair County Sheriff’s Office reports that in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec.15, the Back Roads Bar and Grill at 106 E. Adair St. in Brashear was burglarized.  A door to the establishment was forced open and alcoholic stock was removed from the business.

On Thursday, Dec. 17, information from the business owner led Sheriff’s Office officials to five suspects believed to have been involved in the burglary.

Sheriff’s Office investigators questioned three of the five suspects.  The suspects made statements that led to two juvenile suspects being taken into custody.  In addition, charges will be filed against a third juvenile suspect.

Two adult suspects will also have charges filed with the Prosecutor’s Office in reference to this incident.

The Sheriff’s Office investigation is continuing.
