OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The 20th annual Ottumwa Home and Garden Show is officially one week away.
Last year there were more than 110 exhibitors and Ottumwa Chamber Director Terry McNitt said the show is practically sold out for the 6th year in a row.
However, there is still a little bit or room left if a vendor wants to get into the home show.
There will be everything from gutters to roofs to basements and plants – all under one roof.
“Our celebrity guest for our show -- we're really excited, we teamed up with Hy-Vee and we're going to be getting Jerry Kluver who has a show 'Get Growing' in Des Moines and he's going to be here to answer everybody's questions. He wants you to bring in your questions, your pictures, your plants, we'll be having an hour and half long presentation at the theater from 1 to 2:30 on Saturday and then he'll also be around with us throughout the afternoon at the Hy-Vee booth,” said McNitt.
And for the kids, the Iowa State Insect Zoo will be present on Saturday and Sunday.
In honor of its 20th year, prices are being rolled back; adults are $5, kids 6-12 are $4 and kids 5 and under are free.
The show runs from March 1-3.
