NOVINGER, MO. -- A crash near Novinger has left a woman dead.
67-year-old Patricia Borrok, of Novinger, was driving southbound on Route K, early Sunday morning when her vehicle began sliding.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Borrok's vehicle then traveled off the left side of the road. Once off the road, it overturned into a creek becoming submerged.
No other vehicles were involved.
The accident was reported around 9, but Borrok was not pronounced dead until a little after 11.
Adair County Coroner Brian Noe tells KTVO the exact cause of her death has not determined. He says it's still not clear if Borrok died from the crash or by drowning.
