KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and one organization wants to help you get that perfect gift for your sweetheart.

The United Way of Adair County is once again holding its annual chocolate-dipped strawberries fundraiser.

You can get either a dozen or half a dozen strawberries for that special someone.

Last year, more than 200 dozen strawberries were sold, and everyone is hoping for more orders this time around.

"It's a special way people can show their love and appreciation for their loved ones, but also for their community. It's a special treat," said United Way of Adair County Executive Director, John Dungan.

Orders must be placed by Wednesday, February 6 so the strawberries can be purchased, dipped, and ready for pick up on Valentine's Day, February 14.

Arrangements may be made for secret admirer deliveries as well.

To place an order call (660) 665-1924 or go here.
