FAIRFIELD, IOWA (AP) -- Police are investigating a vehicle crash that killed three people in southeast Iowa.
The crash happened Wednesday night on Highway 34 near Fairfield. Two passengers were ejected from the car and the driver was trapped inside the wreckage.
The Iowa State Patrol says a Chevy Camaro was traveling at a high speed when it failed to negotiate a curve. It struck a light pole and rolled numerous times.
The State Patrol reports that Martin Durflinger of Ottumwa, Robbie Abel of Hedrick and Harry Blodgett of Brighton were killed in the crash.
