OTTUMWA, IA. -- It's been a work in progress for the past year.

The new Ottumwa elementary school is set to open its doors in August.

The building is looking more and more like a school with construction going strong.

The new building would combine Agassiz, Pickwick, and Wildwood schools into one school for 2nd- 5th grades.

Douma school would stay open for kindergarten and first grades only.

On Monday, the Ottumwa School Board will meet at 6 p.m. and on the agenda is a vote to choose the new name of the building.

Names that have been talked about include, Prairie View, Liberty and Fahrney.
