KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Adults and children who participate in the Special Olympics started practicing for their November 3 tournament in Kirksville.

Thursday’s practice session lasted for an hour.

The athletes will practice at 3:30 every Thursday afternoon at Leisure World Family Fun Center from now until November 1.

Everyone who practices must have a current participant paper, which they can receive at the practice, and a current physical.

The upcoming tournament in Kirksville is sponsored by Special Olympics.
