KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- This time of year can be one of the busiest times for cab companies.
The D & D Cab Company has been in Kirksville for more than forty years now.
The owner, Billy Bunch said they are already gearing up for a busy night.
He said on New Year's Eve they get about 75 to 80 calls; double what they normally receive.
Bunch said he expects people to start calling for rides around the same time the bars open.
And during those peak hours the phone lines may be busy, and it may be difficult to catch a cab at all.
