NEAR LA PLATA, MO. -- Law enforcement is asking anyone in southeastern Adair County and northeastern Macon County to be on the lookout for a second person wanted in connection with Tuesday morning's manhunt.
The suspect, a white male, was last seen in the Santa Fe Lake area wearing a ballcap with a light colored shirt and dark colored shorts.
If you see anyone you don't recognize walking in these areas, you're asked to call your local law enforcement office.
Jeffery Sharp of Kirksville was arrested at the scene and taken to the Macon County Jail. He is currently being held on $50,000 cash only bond.
The two men were wanted after they fled a traffic stop. Drugs were found in their vehicle.
