FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Live on the Square Summer Concert Series in Fairfield kicked off Saturday evening with the smooth Latin American and Caribbean sounds of the band Bambu.
The Fairfield Square was full of people lounging on lawn chairs and laying on blankets.
It even got some people out of their chairs and dancing to the music.
The free concert attracted people of all ages, making it a family atmosphere.
“Yeah, having fun with my family,” said one concert attendee.
This is just the first concert of the summer concert series. The next Live on the Square at Fairfield’s Square will be June 23.
Throughout the summer, various live musical acts will be featured.
