OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Imagine seeing this in your yard.

A woman in Ottumwa called police after finding this iguana in her yard Thursday.

Police picked it up and the story has a happy ending.  After a picture was posted on the police department's animal control page, word got around.

A friend of the iguana's owner saw the picture posted on Ottumwa's Facebook page and the lizard was claimed Friday morning.
