Classes for powerful tools for caregivers have started

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Classes for the 'Powerful Tools for Caregivers' have started at the Northeast Missouri Rural Health Network on 117 W. Potter Ave. in Kirksville, Mo.  These classes are designed to help people who have any struggles caring for a sick or disabled relative or friend. People can share their stories with others as well as learn tricks to make their lives easier while also enhancing care for others.

“Well today was our very first class powerful tools for caregivers and it was an excellent class. We had several participants show up and we began by introducing ourselves and learning a little bit more about each person's care giving situation and today was about finding out what needs need to be met what type of situations people are in and how they can learn to take care of themselves,” said Jennifer Chrisman.

It is not too late to join. The next class is Monday, March 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Northeast Missouri Rural Health Network building at 117 W. Potter Avenue.
