MEMPHIS, MO. -- The Mid-America U.S. Air Force Band, Starlifter, entertains with a variety of musical genres.

The seven-member band offered two free concerts in northeast Missouri.

Starlifter plays rock, pop, jazz and country, performing music that spans from the sounds of the 70s to today's hits.

The musical group is also known for performing both contemporary and traditional patriotic music.

They're one of seven U.S. Air Force Bands of Mid-America.

The band has performed for more than 6,000 troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and across the Middle East.
