Lawsuit filed against murder suspect

KNOX COUNTY, MO. -- A Knox County shooting death in December of 2012 has resulted in a civil suit.

The victim’s sons, Raymond, William and Robert Bacon, have filed a lawsuit against Glenn Head of Novelty, the man charged in the shooting death shooting death of 67-year-old Bill Bacon, also of Novelty.

The suspect and the victim had been having a dispute for some time.

In the suit, the sons are asking for funeral expenses, medical expenses incurred by their father, prior to his death and loss of future income among other things.

Glenn Head is charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action in the case. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 8.
