Mt. Pleasant woman missing, officials asking for help

MT. PLEASANT, IOWA -- KTVO has obtained a picture of Bruegge. The Henry County Sheriff's Office is still asking for the public's help concerning this case.


The Henry County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman from Mt. Pleasant.

According to Henry County Sheriff Rich McNamee, a conservation officer found a 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan parked at the end of a boat ramp at Faulkner Access near Oakland Mills on Friday before 10 a.m.

Officials traced the silver vehicle back the Teresa Bruegge of Mount Pleasant.

Officials from the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Henry County Conservation Department, Iowa State Patrol and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources began to search the area for Bruegge.

Bruegge is described as a white female in her mid-40's, 5'6" tall, about 300 pounds, with a shaved head. She was last seen wearing blue shorts, a grey t-shirt, blue jacket and a tan cap.

The Sheriff's Department asks anyone with information on Bruegge's whereabouts to contact officers at (319) 385-2712.
