BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- The Vintage Chic store in Bloomfield hosted Daffodil Days Saturday to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Members from the community came to the store to purchase the colorful flower, which will be delivered in March.

All of this is being done in order to find a cure for cancer.

“It seems in all counties, especially here in Davis County, we all know each other on a personal basis. So many people have individually been touched; friends, family, and it is just a way that you can give back for this research by just ordering a few daffodils,” said Susan Utt-Smith with the American Cancer Society.

Interested parties can still purchase daffodils either by calling Susan Utt-Smith at 641-208-7235 or by visiting the American Cancer Society’s website.
