FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- It has a catchy name, “Show you care with underwear.” Throughout the month of February in Fairfield, you are asked to donate new underwear.

This is a mini-drive in conjunction with a larger clothing drive distribution called “Caring through Clothing” which was started this past November on Black Friday where coats, blankets and winter apparel were distributed.

“But we realized in doing that this year that we really had needs that weren't being met for new socks and underwear and so we're doing separate drives in different months to try to get those things so we'll be ready for November,” said Staci Wright, event organizer.

There will be donation drop-off boxes through Fairfield at various businesses and churches.

Some of those include the Fairfield Chamber, Natural Selections, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and First Baptist Church.
