KIRKSVILLE, MO -- It has been quite an interesting week for us weather wise in the Heartland.

First came freezing rain on Sunday. Foggy conditions on Monday. Rain and storms Tuesday and now Wednesday snow.

Kirksville got anywhere from 1-2 inches of snow.

Northeast Missouri was under a Winter Weather Advisory for most of the day.

Ottumwa got anywhere from 3-4 inches of snow. Southeast Iowa was under a winter storm warning during the morning and early afternoon.

After this storm system passes we will be feeling very cold air and temperatures.

Conditions will improve as we head into the weekend with sunny skies and temperatures in the 30's and 40's.
