KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The third meth bust of the year by Kirksville Police, lands two more alleged meth makers behind bars.

Charged are Clayton Munn, 23, and Daryl Grant, 55, both of Kirksville. They are each charged with attempt to manufacture methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Both men are being held at the Adair County jail under $75,000 cash only bond.

According to court papers, a Kirksville Police officer had received a report of burglary suspects traveling in a red convertible. When the officer attempted to stop the car, he saw the passenger throw a white powdery substance out of the window.

When police searched the car they found numerous items known to be used to manufacture methamphetamine. Munn already had outstanding warrants for his arrest at the time of this arrest.
