Man facing sex charges will stay in jail

MACON, MO. -- A Heartland man charged with several sex-related felonies will not be given a change in bond, following a court appearance in a Macon County courtroom Thursday.

Billie Spaid, 36, of Macon, is charged with first degree statutory rape, second degree statutory rape, first degree statutory sodomy, enticement of a child and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is being held under $50,000 cash only bond. January 14 is the date set for a preliminary hearing.
