Heartland man pleads to sex charge

UNIONVILLE, MO. -- A Northeast Missouri man could face prison time after pleading guilty to a sex related felony charge.

Harrison Collins, 63, of Unionville entered the plea to a single count of second degree statutory sodomy.

The trial for Collins had been moved from Putnam County to Mercer County on a change of venue. Collins was originally charged with first degree child molestation.

Prosecutor Tom Keedy is asking for a seven-year sentence for Collins, with 120 day sexual offender treatment. Sentencing is set for February 20.
