Court appearance set for accused limo stealer

MACON COUNTY, MO. -- A Kirksville man, who allegedly took a stolen limo on the ride of his life, will make his first court appearance this week.

Vicente Soto, 25, is charged with felony counts of first degree tampering and resisting arrest, along with other misdemeanors, including DWI. He is being held in the Macon County jail under $25,000 cash only bond.

Soto is accused of stealing a stretch limousine from a Kirksville business and leading authorities on a multi-county chase.

Soto is scheduled for initial arraignment Thursday in a Macon County courtroom.
