BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- The city of Bloomfield will be a-buzz all day on Saturday for its annual Christmas Festival.
And this year, the festival will be bigger than ever with lots of new activities.
Businesses on the town square will be opening their doors and will have various games and crafts for the kids.
“We're also going to have carnival games all around the square in different businesses so we're really encouraging everybody to get out and get around and visit the local shops, do some shopping but at the same time have fun, bring the kids, bring the whole family out. Santa will be in his house that day and we'll also have activities going on at the old elementary,” said Diana Upton-Hill, Bloomfield Main Street Coordinator.
At 2:15 in the old elementary school, the children’s movie "The Polar Express" will be showing.
There will also be vendors present with every holiday gift imaginable for purchase.
And last but not least, Santa Claus will be in Bloomfield at his house.
