Fire on Normal Street

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Fire struck a Kirksville residence early Tuesday evening.

Kirksville firefighters were called to the 400 block of West Normal just after 7 p.m..

Witnesses told us they smelled smoke coming from the garage of the two-story building, then flames erupted.

No one was home at the time the fire broke out.

The cause of the blaze is unknown and under investigation at this time.
