Victim flown from crash scene

SCOTLAND COUNTY, MO. -- A Heartland man remains hospitalized Monday following a weekend crash.
    
Derek Sanchez, 32, of Memphis, Mo., is listed in serious condition at University Hospital in Columbia.
    
Sanchez was injured when the car he was riding in went off the right side of the road and overturned coming to rest on it's top. Sanchez was flown, from the scene, to Columbia by Air-Evac.
    
The driver, Jessica Tetlow, 32, also of Memphis, was treated for minor injuries at Scotland County Hospital.
    
The crash happened on Highway 136 in Scotland County just after 11:30 Saturday night.
    
The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff's Office, Memphis Police and Scotland County First Responders.
