Former teacher charged in sex case gets trial moved

MEMPHIS, MO. -- The trial of a former Scotland County teacher is being moved out of Scotland County.

Corey Stott, 38, of Arbela, Mo. is charged with a felony count of sexual conduct with a student while on school property and a misdemeanor count of 3rd-degree sexual misconduct. Stott's case has been moved on a change of venue to Knox County for trial.

According to court papers, Stott is accused of improperly touching a female student on two separate occasions, once while on a school bus on a school function and another time while in the vocational agriculture classroom.

Corey Stott remains free on bond.
