MACON, MO -- Macon residents came out on this chilly Sunday to help raise money for one local school.
The annual Oktoberfest festivities took place at the Immaculate Conception School.
There was something for people of all ages to enjoy from live entertainment, games, an auction, raffles, a baby show, bounce houses, and food.
This is the school's biggest fundraiser of the year, and for organizers, it's a great feeling to know they have the community support.
"We worked so hard to get to this day. This day comes, and it's nice to see the people donate money right back to the school. That's special to know that people care and buying stuff," said Oktoberfest Co-Chair Lisa Tull.
All the money raised will go towards the school and its needs.
The event is an ongoing tradition for the school taking place every year on the first Sunday in October.
