Early voting begins in Missouri

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Tuesday is the first day you can submit your absentee ballot in Missouri.

You can absentee vote if you are not going to be in your precinct on Election Day.

When you go to vote, you need some form of identification.

You can place an absentee vote until November 5.

The Adair County Clerk said it is important to vote.

“(I) hope that everybody will take the time to get out and vote,” Sandy Collop Adair County Clerk said. “You know that's how your voice is heard…we would appreciate everybody working it into their schedule(s) to get out and vote for this very important election.”

The clerk’s office will be staying open until 5 p.m. on November 5.

And, it will be open November 3 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The last day to register to vote is October 10.

If you think you have registered but you are not sure, you can call the Adair County Clerk office and they can tell you.
