ADAIR COUNTY, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man is behind bars after he was allegedly caught with a stolen ATV in his possession.

Timothy Harrelson, 17, of Kirksville is charged with receiving stolen property.

According to court papers, Harrelson was in possession of a Polaris Predator that had been stolen on Tuesday, August 28, from a private campground near the Chariton River bridge on Highway 11 in Adair County.

Adair County sheriff’s deputies discovered the ATV last Sunday behind a shed on Harrelson's property southeast of Kirksville.

Harrelson is free after posting bond.
