NOVINGER, MO -- One Heartland community got together to celebrate the Labor Day holiday.
The city of Novinger took part in the Novinger Labor Day Celebration Parade Sunday afternoon.
Adults and kids enjoyed the many floats that passed by and took up the opportunity to grab all of the candy.
The parade lasted a half an hour, and included the Adair County Fire Department and Sheriff's Department, Adair County School R-I Marching Band, and the El Kadair Shrine Club were there just to name a few.
Also a few political candidates also participated in the parade.
The celebration concluded with a talent show, queen contest, baby show, and a silent auction Sunday evening.
