Ottumwa High School Principal Mark Hanson told KTVO Friday that the school is honored to be hosting the event, but they are also very excited to be able to participate in such an important discussion.

"I think there are many, not just area superintendents, but area business people that are very interested in this topic. We have teachers that are going to be bringing their students to the meeting, that have a real interest in it; and I think it should be very informative for all of the parties involved," Hanson said.

The event is open to the public. School officials remind those who are attending that they must enter through the high school cafeteria and sign in with the receptionist.
