KIRKSVILLE, MO -- School is back in session. Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer is right around the corner and the Adair County YMCA is starting is fall programs.

With the exception of youth soccer, numerous sports leagues are still available for adults and kids to participate in.

Besides the sports leagues, fitness classes such as zumba and spinning are available for adults of all ages to sign up as well

"We have lots of new classes that are going to start next week," said Wellness Director Diane Corder. "We're bringing in some early morning classes and later classes. Our kids class will resume right after school and those are actually free for non members"

This year, the Y is extending their childcare services to cover the hours of the fitness classes.  Those classes will run from 8-11:30 a.m. in the morning and 5-8 p.m.
