OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Ottumwa High School students and staff are reminded everyday about the school’s new standards for success.

Over the summer, crews installed new murals at the front of the school to remind those of Ottumwa High School how to treat one another, but also how to live their lives in order to be successful individuals.

“We thought that these standards were important enough to put up because we do want them out in-front of our students every single day. These are skills students need to have, all of us need to have in order to be successful. And whether it be in a job interview setting, or just in a workplace setting, these are the standards people live by,” said Ottumwa High School Principal Mark Hanson.

Hanson said that the standards the school came up with had input from both students and faculty. The standards are posted in every classroom on the OHS campus.
