MACON, MO -- In Macon, folks were not washing their cars but instead showing them off.

The Crossroads Cruisers Car Club held their 7th annual Car Show in the Macon County Park Saturday morning and afternoon.

Car lovers from all over brought their best rides, ranging from the classics to the cars of today.

For event organizers, it's the great turnout that makes it all worthwhile.

"For anybody who likes Old classic cars. We have a really good variety. We always hope for the local people to come on out. It doesn't cost anything. You just come out and see the cars. That's what we are here for. We're car lovers in general. We love people to see our cars," said Crossroads Cruisers Club President Sid Lea.

This was the first year the car show was held in conjunction with the demolition derby on the same weekend.

The Crossroad Cruisers hope to do the two events together again next year.
