KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Some of Kirksville’s most notable residents put on their dancing shoes and hit the floor to impress friends and family.
Kirksville Primary School played host to the 8th annual Dancing with the Local Stars.
Couples have practiced for a week, gearing up for Saturday night's competition.
The theme was dancing through the decades, as couples either performed music from the 20's, 50's or 80's.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Kirksville high school dance team.
People's Choice award goes to Tim Herbst and Mericoh Weber.
20's genre winner goes to Alex Tappe and Tiffany Middlemus.
50's genre winner goes to Jerry Wollmering and Brooke Novinger.
The 80's genre winner goes to Terry Taylor and Kinsey Helton.
