KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Annual Dukum-Inn Shootout was held Friday afternoon at the Kirksville Country Club.

The two-man scramble golf tournament benefits the United Way Campaign.

More than 32 people participated. There were two flights, where first, second, and third place took home $150, $100, and $75 respectively.

The United Way of Adair County and Northeast Missouri Executive Director John Dungan said turnout has been great.

"The Dukum-Inn Shootout has been our biggest single fundraiser in the course of the year as an event. So, we're delighted this year that we're expecting to raise around $5,000 for the United Way campaign and we're grateful for the support," said Dungan.

Besides the Dukum-Inn, there were 32 other businesses and individuals that helped sponsor the event.
