Longtime Kirksville restaurant closes

Kirksville KFC closes

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Just as one fast food restaurant is about to reopen, another one closes.

That's right, no more chicken in Kirksville, Kentucky Fried Chicken that is.

When our reporter arrived at the Kirksville KFC on Tuesday, the restaurant doors were locked and the parking lot was empty.

There was a note on the door that indicated the restaurant was closed.

A person on location told us that they had been removing items from the restaurant and transporting them to another location out of town.
