MACON COUNTY, MO. -- Law enforcement officers in both Adair and Macon Counties are continuing to gather more information on the one that got away. The second suspect, who was not arrested in Tuesday's day long manhunt, remains at large.

We have learned more about the suspect who was arrested Tuesday. Jeffrey Sharp,32, of Kirksville, was wanted on a Macon County warrant for a felony charge of receiving stolen property. The charge was filed after several stolen items were discovered at a residence Sharp was living at in LaPlata.

Sharp is also facing felony charges of second degree assault and resisting arrest by fleeing in Adair County. He was released from custody on his own recognizance, in connection with that case on May 21st.

Sharp remains in the Macon County Jail under $50,000 cash only bond. He is scheduled to make an appearance in Macon County Court on Thursday. He is set to appear in Adair County Court on Monday.
