Motorcycle hits truck, one killed

Motorcycle crash kills one.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri man was killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon. The crash occurred on Highway 5 about 8 miles south of Milan.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troy Flummer, 47, of Browning, was killed when he attempted to pass a dump truck ahead of him, when the truck was attempting a left turn. The motorcycle struck the left door of the dump truck. Flummer was pronounced dead at the scene by Sullivan County Coroner Paul Ruschmeier.
