KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man is in trouble with the law for a drug offense.

The Adair County Prosecutor’s Office said Eric Parton, 29, of Kirksville is charged with one felony count of distribution of the controlled substances methamphetamine and marijuana.

Court documents indicate that Parton knowingly sold approximately .038 grams of meth and approximately 14.9 grams of marijuana for $100 to an undercover narcotics investigator with the North Missouri Drug Task Force.

The alleged drug deal went down in Kirksville on December 2, 2010.

Parton was charged on July 13, 2012.
