MACON, MISSOURI -- A northeast Missouri woman, who admitted taking more than $8000 from the Macon Senior Center, has heard her sentence.

Donna Bruner, of Excello, was sentenced to five years in prison, with the sentence suspended. She was placed on five years supervised probation.

Bruner was also ordered to pay restitution, complete 500 hours of community service and tour the Department of Corrections. Bruner was also ordered to serve 30 days shock incarceration.

Bruner admitted to taking the money thru the misuse of a debit card, along with pocketing money from the sale of stamps at the center, and charging grocery items for personal use.

Bruner entered the guilty pleas back in May.
