Three people involved in accident north of Novinger

NOVINGER, MO -- Three people are involved in an accident at the intersection of Route 6 and 149  north of Novinger Saturday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:45 p.m. 

Troopers said 35- year-old Jason Brandenburg of Novinger, Mo., was traveling southbound on Route 149 in a Cadillac. When he attempted to turn onto Route six, he allegedly pulled into the path of 17- year-old Cody Ford, of Milan, Mo., who was traveling westbound in a Ford pickup. Troopers said Ford's pickup landed in a ditch.

Jason Brandenburg was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. William Ford, Cody Ford's father, was also riding in the pickup.  He was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
