Bevier teen hurt after pickup strikes utility pole

NEAR MACON, MO. -- A Bevier teen is involved in a serious accident late Friday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 17-year-old Chandice Gladbach was driving a Ford Ranger on Old US 36 near Macon when the pickup ran off the road, traveled down an embankment, and overturned, striking a utility pole.

Gladbach was transported by Macon ambulance to Samaritan Hospital with moderate injuries. Troopers said she was wearing a seatbelt.
