American Gothic Days is a weekend-long celebration of the historical monument that is the American Gothic House.

“Today we started with our 5K run/walk at 7:30 this morning. There's been a parade, wine tasting happens today, a book sale, BBQ chicken dinner at noon time -- there's a rodeo this evening at the fairground and all sorts of other things,” said Holly Berg, American Gothic House Center Administrator.

Berg said this is a great time for the city of Eldon to come together and celebrate what the city has to offer.

Sunday morning there will be a morning bike ride; registration begins at 6:45 a.m. at the American Gothic House Center and the ride starts at 7:30 a.m.
