Kirksville man arrested on an Iowa warrant

ADAIR COUNTY, MO. -- Update:

Stephen Potter, 26, of Kirksville has now been charged.

He's now facing felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license, in addition to two misdemeanor charges.

Potter is in the adair county jail on a total of $35,000 cash only bond.

 

A Kirksville man is in a Northeast Missouri jail on an Iowa warrant.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Stephen P. Potter, of Kirksville, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, and is being held in the Adair County Jail. He was arrested on a felony warrant out of Wapello county, Iowa for sale, transfer, furnishing, or receipt for unlawful purpose.

Potter is also on a 24-hour hold for possession of a controlled substance.

His bond for the Iowa warrant has been set at $10,000 cash only.
