KIRKSVILLE, MISSOURI -- Adair County Prosecutor Matt Wilson told KTVO Wednesday morning, that he has dropped the sex related felony charges against Joseph Christman, 39, and his wife Lindsay Christman, 29, both of Kirksville.

In a written statement, Wilson says the decision was made following further investigation into the victim’s allegations. Among the allegations proven false, was the claim that the alleged incidents had occurred after both Joe Christman and the victim had consumed controlled substances. However, multiple drug tests from multiple agencies showed neither Christman, nor the alleged victim, had consumed any of the substances in the allegations.
