KEOKUK COUNTY, IOWA -- Eleven people in Keokuk County are in jail after area law enforcement conducted a lengthy investigation into the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The following individuals were arrested on April 27 and charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture more than five grams of Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony, according to Sergeant Jason Bell of the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Force.

-Denver Allen Bird, 22, of Sigourney

-Christopher Babcock, 23, of Sigourney

-Brittany Trusty, 19, of Sigourney

-Christopher Cole Thompson, 25, of Sigourney

-Phillip Wayne Ingle, 30, of Delta

-Marshall Adam Hammes, 30, of What Cheer

-Courtney Alexis Thompson, 27, of What Cheer

-Christine Ann Smith, 36, of What Cheer

-Idalia Oviedo Sotomayor, 20, of Delta

-Todd Dean Schultz, 39, of What Cheer and

-Dennis Lee Hines, 43, of Oskaloosa

The Keokuk County Sheriff's Office, the Sigourney Police Department, the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement assisted in the investigation.

In the press release, Sgt. Bell said more arrests are expected in the coming weeks as a result of the ongoing investigation.
